It's been a while since my last post, time to update......

Some time ago i got approached by Alkalino from Munich and Alphabet City from Brighton if i have a track for their new label for a release.... I didn't hesitate and gave them a track called "Space Place". And now it's in the shops, alongside great tracks by James Johnston, Bartellow feat Stefan Brisee, Alkalino & Black Lodge. Hope you dig it as much as i do.....

Time for some update on this blog; Here's a lil remix for Bartellow done in 2009, done mainly on the SP1200 with jus samlpes from the original in use....it was supposed to be released on the 12" but was rejected in the end, anyway, fuck it, grab it for a tweet ;)hope you dig....

Sun Ra -The World Is Not My Home - Jazzman

Jazzman released the 2nd installation of Sun Ra's tracks in a beautiful 3 x 7" box. The whole artwork including silkscreened covers was don by the mighty House of Traps which you might know from their artwork for the Firecracker and Unthank label. This time the 7" come in transparent vinyl with an extra illustraed 7" slipmat. I guess now all of the boxes limited and numbered to 1000 are gone everywhere and raise high prices on discogs. so i reckon if you can still get one don't miss the opportunity to grab some. Such a beautifl piece of art plus the fantastic musc by the mighty Sun-Ra

Some days ago I discovered this wonderful mix on Soundcloud. Much in the tradition of the Cosmic guys like Beppe Loda, who used to play loads of records on 33 rpm instead of their designated speed of 45 rpm.

Some words from the creator of the mix:

All vinyls in this mix are made for 45rpm and played at 33rpm.
Balldeli and Loda did this back in the day.
Sutsche from Hamburg are doing it whole nights and mornings.
i did it for you so enjoy please.
you know the deal!
warning !!! do not try this with your mp3 files kids !
it will sound crappy if you pitch down 20 BPM!

A couple of days Mr. Digipop approached me about making a remix for my track "can't get enough" from last years 12" on Tjumy rec. Of course I haven't rejected his offer.

While I was scrolling throgh my inbox this morning I found this link to the remix he did. In fact he did use any of the samples from the original, everything is newly done & replayed. I hope you enjoy the remix as much as I do.

Ladies & Gents, don't miss this evening of great disco & house moments. I'm sharing the decks this time with one of the hottest producing talents emerging from Vienna: Perrez. You might not have heard from him, but I'm sure you he's gonna create some buzz this year with his sleazy, deep Cutz. Choosing his analogue weapons of choice from his vast array of synthesizers, drum machines or other vintage equipment, he never fails to create emotional moments with his music or dj sets. Alongside Perrez also Kido Soon & Willfling will join me for this night of party bliss. They're both very known for their amazing Night at Pratersauna called "Praterei", which also acts as a vinyl only record label (respect guys!), and the festival "Prater Unser". Kido also hosts a weekly radioshow called "313 Jazzin'" together with his mates Bionic Kid and Thoman de Martin. No matter if they play disco-ish, detroit-ish or chicago-ish, they never fail to move the crowd. get down with us!
